40m Sunreef explorer Eco

The eco-version of the 40m Explorer from Polish shipyard Sunreef, this “radical” catamaran was unveiled earlier this year. Constructed from ultralight composite, the 40m Sunreef Explorer Eco offers the same long-range capabilities as the classic 40m Sunreef Explorer but features more environmentally friendly features and amenities throughout her design. Measuring 38 metres in length with a generous 13.34-metre beam and a 1.90-metre draught, she is fitted with Sunreef Yachts’ patented solar skin technology. A flexible solar panel layer, this transforms every exterior surface into a functional power generator, producing 50kWp of power, enough energy to operate all onboard systems, from the Jacuzzi to the advanced audiovisual equipment.
