Sunreef Catamarans

One of the industry’s leading builders of sailing and power catamarans, Sunreef Yachts leverages more than 20 years of expertise. Founded by Francis Lapp in Gdansk, Poland, in 2002, he sought to construct his own large catamarans for chartering after realizing there was a gap in the market. Following the launch of its first oceangoing power catamaran with a flybridge in 2003, the Sunreef 74 CHE, the yard expanded its range.

Sunreef Yachts introduced its first double-deck power catamaran with ocean range, the 70 Sunreef Power JAMBO, in 2008 and went on to establish its Sunreef Ultimate Line and Supreme Line in 2010 and 2015, respectively. Currently offering semi-custom and custom sailing and power catamarans measuring between 15 meters and 35 meters in length, the yard also introduced its Eco division, focusing on electric propulsion, sustainable materials, and new technologies for more responsible cruising. Notable Sunreef Yachts to date include the Sunreef 114, the second largest sloop-rigged catamaran and third biggest sailing multihull in the world, and the Sunreef 80 Eco, the first yacht to feature the yard’s ‘solar skin.’
