Lagoon

Lagoon Yachts, a forefront innovator in cruising catamaran yachts, was founded in 1984 in France as a branch of Jeanneau Technologies Advances. The result of a deep working relationship between the management of Jeanneau, Fleury Michon, Philippe Poupon and Jean-Francois de Premorel, the first Lagoon catamaran, the Lagoon 55, was introduced in 1987 as a pioneer in catamaran design

In 1992, after the yard Construction Navale Bordeaux (as Lagoon was known) was acquired by the Group Beneteau, the yard began to significantly expand its range, introducing the Lagoon 57, followed by the 37, 42 and 57 before the Lagoon 67 in 1994. Since then, Lagoon has continued to grow, introducing larger innovative models like the Lagoon 440 in 2004, a flybridge catamaran with all the equipment on the roof. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2024, Lagoon has built and delivered more than 7,000 catamarans to date, marking a significant presence in the yachting industry. With a portfolio that spans from 12 to 24 metres in length, Lagoon offers a diverse array of both self-reliant sailing catamarans and motor yachts, each customisable to the owner’s preferences. Today, Lagoon remains dedicated to broadening its range of sailing and motor catamarans, with a focus on cutting-edge technology and the ability to tailor each yacht to her owner’s specifications.
