Horizon Yacht

Founded in 1987, Horizon Yacht is a Taiwanese shipyard renowned for its leading build techniques, high-end craftsmanship, and advanced technology. Offering eight distinctive series catering to a broad range of yachting lifestyles, Horizon specialises in building motor yachts measuring 15 to 45 metres in length. The only member of the Superyacht Builder’s Association from the Far East, Horizon Yacht is the parent company of Horizon Group. Co-founded by John Lu, Gong Shan Chiai, and Cheng Shun Hui in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Horizon Yacht began as a commitment to building client-inspired dream yachts. Currently serving as the builder’s CEO, Lu leveraged his background as a naval architect to establish a shipyard that would excel in craftsmanship and exceed global standards. Over the past three-plus decades, Horizon Yacht has expanded both its facilities and production capabilities and branched out into different companies, including Atech Composites, Vision Yachts, and Premier Yacht, each specialising in different aspects of yacht construction. By expanding both its series offerings as well as its offerings, Horizon Yacht has become one of the most recognised names in yachting in Asia and beyond. The yard’s series includes the popular FD (Fast Displacement) and E series, each reflecting Horizon’s dedication to performance, comfort, and customisation. Notable yachts from Horizon Yacht include Miss Rose, a Horizon P130 model, Muses, a Horizon RP120 model and Esther 7, a Horizon RP110 and a finalist in the 2015 World Superyacht Awards.
