REEL TEXAN is an exceptional 2008 Hatteras 68 Convertible featuring a spacious four-stateroom, four-head layout, a full-beam master suite, and an expansive salon enhanced by her impressive 21'6" beam. Powered by twin 1,800 HP Caterpillar C32 ACERT engines with just 2,770 original hours, she has enjoyed light private use and meticulous maintenance by a full-time captain. Originally a Maine-based vessel, stored undercover for much of her early life and not fished until 2019, REEL TEXAN underwent an extensive refit in 2019 that included new paint, twin Seakeeper stabilizers, updated interior, electronics, and fishing equipment. Additional upgrades include a new teak cockpit, 2,000 lb Nautical Structures davit, Garmin electronics, Starlink, marine exhaust, pumps, generators, and numerous mechanical improvements.
